If you know me, then you know just how invested I am in sportsball. Apparently, football season is about to begin, and while I couldn’t tell you the names of the Dolphins quarterback or the Colts kicker - I do know that NFL athletes live luxurious lifestyles. Some of these players can afford extravagant homes and many of the NFL player homes will make your jaw drop.

When you’re an NFL player who’s worth millions of dollars, there’s virtually no limit to what kind of home you can own. From lavish architectures to serene infinity pools, a majority of these professional athletes have chosen to live in upscale, ultra-luxurious homes.

In anticipation of this upcoming NFL season, let’s take a quick look inside some of the best NFL players homes.

Are you ready for some football (players' houses)?!

1. Tom Brady, New England Patriots

Total Contract Value: $23,000,000

Are you looking for a sprawling estate in Brookline, Massachusetts? If so, you’re in luck because Tom Brady’s home just went up for sale for a cool $40M. Custom-built in 2015, this nearly 10,000-square-foot home includes a spa, a massage room, a top-of-the-line gym, and of course a wine room. As if all those amenities aren't already enough, friends and family can also choose to stay overnight on the property, using the barn-like 2,400-square-foot guest house. This NFL player home also includes some of the most beautifully landscaped grounds you’ve ever seen, topped off with an organic garden. You can also have a different outdoor experience as the property backs up to the golf course of the Brookline Country Club.

The Patriots quarterback has been spotted looking at properties in Connecticut and New Jersey, though Brady isn’t worried about having a place to stay if he can’t decide on a new home before his mansion sells. The NFL player owns homes in New York City, Montana, and Costa Rica.

Fun fact: Brady's guest house comes complete with its own yoga studio.

2. Antonio Brown, Oakland Raiders

Total Contract Value: $50,125,000

Antonio Brown’s home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has plenty of space to spare. The 18,000-square-foot mansion has 12 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms! Brown paid $6.6M for this home, which according to the Sun-Sentinel, was $900K under asking price. This excellent home may not have waterfront views, but the property maximizes its outdoor space with a huge saltwater pool, a custom kitchen, and a wet bar.

This immense NFL player home also includes a built-in synagogue, an enormous lion sculpture in the master closet, and an impressive sneaker collection. Get an inside look of his sneaker collection below.

Fun fact: Antonio owns not one, but two homes in his hometown of Miami, FL.

3. Odell Beckham Jr., Cleveland Browns

Total Contract Value: $90,000,000

Odell is currently searching for a new residence in Cleveland, Ohio. Still, we thought we'd show off the beautiful three-story home that he left in New York. Odell’s Hudson County home features 3,529-square-feet of living space. Each level of the NFL player’s home features windows with views of Manhattan and large private terraces. One of our favorite features of the home is the chef’s kitchen, complete with Caesarstone quartz countertops, floor-to-ceiling custom cabinetry, and Sub-Zero professional-grade stainless steel appliances.

Fun fact: OBJ set up a man cave in the cellar complete with an infamously cozy couch named the "undefeated."

4. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks

Total Contract Value: $140,000,000

When the Seattle Seahawks quarterback bought a Mediterranean-style home in Bellevue in 2015, his neighbors gave him a very warm welcome by flying the famed “12th Man” flag (in honor of the Seahawks' passionate fans). Wilson should have reciprocated that warm welcome with a housewarming party, since his home is uniquely designed for entertaining - which should be no surprise, considering his wife is the popular singer-songwriter Ciara. This NFL player’s home includes a media room, a game area designed for poker, a 2,000-bottle wine cellar, and panoramic views from nearly every room. His house right now is amazing, but we wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on the market for a new one since he is currently one of the highest-paid players in the NFL.

Fun fact: The entryway to the house was hand-carved over 500 years ago, which makes a memorable first impression.

5. Kyle Long, Chicago Bears

Total Contract Value: $12,200,000

Usually, when you receive a big promotion, you trade up to a bigger home — and that certainly was the case when the Chicago Bears right guard Kyle Long purchased a stunning 6,238-square-foot mansion. After signing a four-year extension for $40M with the team, he put his 4,000-square-foot home in Lake Forest up for sale in order to upgrade. Not only did he gain a ton of new space (much needed for this 6'6" 313 lb. lineman), his new place also includes a luxurious theater room, a huge backyard, and a three-car garage.

Fun fact: Long's home includes a heated driveway to help melt the snow and ice in the winter.

6. Carson Palmer, Former NFL Player

His days of throwing game-winning touchdowns may be over, but the former Cardinals QB Carson Palmer scored quite a deal last year. In total, Palmer paid $4.4 million for a home that was originally listed for $25M! Talk about a great deal. The 8,000-square-foot property is located in Del Mar and has everything you can possibly imagine, including an infinity pool, bocce ball court, an outdoor living space complete with a big-screen TV and kitchen, as well as a raised jacuzzi overlooking the skyline. It’s one of the best NFL player homes on this list.

Fun fact: Carson's brother Jordan is a highly sought-after coach for quarterbacks.

7. Michael Strahan, Former NFL Player

Strahan's beautiful, southern-style property in Los Angeles is 15,000-square-feet, with an estimated price of $17M (Business Insider). The house includes some impressive 20-foot ceilings, 9 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, and a butler's pantry. The lower level has a home theater with leather seats, a popcorn machine, and a 15-foot screen, as well as a billiards room complete with an authentic poker table.

Fun fact: Strahan has a custom, prohibition-style wine cellar on the lower level of his home.
