It can actually be very difficult to attract those buyers and maintain their interest in your home. All of your actions are undoubtedly well-intentioned, but that doesn’t mean that all of your marketing actions will resonate with potential homebuyers. As it turns out, there are a plethora of homebuyer turn-offs and marketing mistakes that might send interested buyers running for the hills.

There are, obviously, limitless ways to make your home feel more attractive and appealing to potential homebuyers. You can pack up all those items that you don’t use every day and store it in your garage space. Once your home sells, you’ll spend less time packing things up!

This should be a no-brainer for any sellers. Homebuyers won’t feel inclined to schedule a showing with a home if the listing photos are shockingly bad. Over the years, we’ve seen plenty of listings with horrible photos, or no photos at all! Some listings may prominently display untidy rooms or unmoved lawns. Other listings might showcase photos of lounging residents or overflowing trash receptacles. When you list a photo that puts your home in a negative light, you can rest assured that it has turned off a huge number of buyers from your residence.
